This 500 page catalogue documents the textile coleccion in the Museo Nacional de Etnografía y Folklore, in La Paz, Bolivia, including archaeological, historical and ethnographic textiles from the South Central Andes and from the Bolivian lowlands, grouped by regions and styles. The catalogue follows the productive chain of textile making, from the selection of fibre (plant, mineral or animal) to the working of threads, types of dye, kinds of loom, types of weaving instruments, and weaving practices.
